Rong Fu is a Toronto-based actor drawn to smart, complicated characters, equally at home in sharp comedy and grounded drama. A graduate of York University’s Acting Conservatory (BFA), she works across film, television, and theatre.
 

On screen, Rong is known for her recurring role as Jenna Mitchell across three seasons of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Paramount+) and as Janet Colgate in the high-concept comedy The Miniature Wife (NBC/Peacock). Her other credits include The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu), Hello, Again (CBC Gem), SkyMed (CBS), Good Sam (CBS), Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), and My Fake Boyfriend (Lionsgate). Her performance in Dying Seconds (JFL) earned her a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Supporting Performance.
 

Rong has built an extensive theatre career across Canada, performing on stages at Tarragon Theatre, the Shaw Festival, Soulpepper Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille, and Vertigo Theatre, among others. Her performance in Interior Design earned her nominations for both a Dora Mavor Moore Award and a Toronto Theatre Award.
 

Rong is also an audiobook narrator, with credits including the bestselling YA novels Iron Widow and Heavenly Tyrant for Penguin Random House Audio. She is currently developing original television projects as a writer and creator.
